Sophie Milliken has had an exciting journey as an entrepreneur. After exiting her first business in early 2022, she identified an opportunity in the market and launched Moja, a modern PR and marketing agency, the same year.

Sophie led her first business to success in large part by raising her own profile. She posted consistently on social media, hosted a podcast, spoke at events, wrote books, gave a TEDx talk, joined boards, won awards and wrote for publications. This visibility made it easier to get meetings and build trust with prospects, fuelling fast growth.

Along the way, Sophie gained valuable experience and connections. She appeared on TV and radio, in the press, and at prestigious events. This journey inspired her next venture. She saw an unmet need for a service helping others amplify their profiles and become industry leaders.

In 2022, Sophie founded Moja to fill this gap. The agency has experienced rapid growth and has big plans for the future. This includes developing an online course and membership, hiring a PR Manager, and continuing to expand the team to serve more clients.

Sophie is passionate about helping others raise their profiles and gain new opportunities. She recently launched her own podcast, Beyond the Bio, where she interviews industry-expert guests to show listeners how to raise their profile.

Winning a 2023 Startup Award validated Sophie’s vision and hard work in Moja’s first year. The recognition was especially meaningful to share with her dedicated team and clients, who joined her at the awards ceremony.
