Tim founded TRL Furniture Consulting in 2021 with a vision for creating bespoke, handcrafted furniture using only local independent suppliers. Based in Nottingham, TRL Furniture Consulting brings high-quality, custom pieces to clients looking to outfit their home offices, living rooms, and outdoor spaces.

Tim was inspired to launch his own company after facing difficulties with a former director. He was determined to build an ethical company that provides employees with fulfilling careers. TRL Furniture Consulting has already achieved notable success, winning “Best New Startup” at the 2023 Startup Awards.

“It was just incredible and has allowed us to be recognised for other awards which we have since won,”

Tim said.

“I would like to just say thank you.”

Tim has ambitious plans for expanding TRL Furniture Consulting. By October 2023, he aims to launch TRL Outdoor Living, which will design and build wood-fired saunas, log cabins, hot tubs, plunge pools, and garden rooms. TRL Steel Fabrication and TRL Logistics are also in the works for 2024.

“TRL Outdoor Living will be incredible along with TRL Logistics and TRL Steel Fabrication, all of which are currently taking shape,”

Tim said.
