Carnedd: Technical Leadership as a Service

Edward Aslin founded Carnedd in 2022 to provide technical leadership and expertise to companies struggling with technology decisions and implementation. After 10 years working as a contractor helping clients implement software solutions, Edward launched Carnedd at the M-Sparc, Ynys Mon. In just one year, Carnedd has grown to a team of four, all without outside investment.

Carnedd’s mission is simple: provide technical leadership to companies in need. As Edward says,

“The way we see it; every company is a software company. Whether you make it, or you use it. But very few people have the correct expertise, in house, to make good technical decisions.”

Carnedd steps in to guide companies through technical challenges, from initial consultation through to final implementation.

Edward founded Carnedd out of a desire to remedy the “technical problems that surrounds technology in many companies.” Carnedd works with a range of clients, from funded startups needing guidance building products to SMEs who require software to large enterprises like the NHS.

Carnedd has ambitious plans to continue growing to help more companies solve complex technical problems. Edward is excited to grow his team and support the technology sector in North West Wales. Upon winning the Startup Awards 2023, Aslin said,
